The end of the year is coming up, which means it is time to start thinking New Years goals! Scripture reading is always on the list for us. This year I worked with The Crafting Chicks to design a 2017 scripture reading chart – something I was happy to design since I figured that this kind of scripture chart just might work perfect for our family too! The goal is to read from the scriptures every single day of the year. Yes, you can do it! This 2017 Scripture Reading Chart has a place to mark each day that you read, as well as hearts to track Family Home Evenings, and months at the bottom to track temple attendance.

I designed both a Primary theme version (which coordinates with my Primary 2017 theme designs), and a mutual version (coordinating with my Mutual 2017 theme designs).

I am providing the Primary version here as a free printable, available in an 8.5″x11″ PDF or a 16″x20″ JPEG. You choose which size works best for your family!

Thanksgiving Grateful Cards – free printable

November 7th, 2016 | Posted by Jolyn in Home & Family Life - (Comments Off on Thanksgiving Grateful Cards – free printable)

With Thanksgiving coming up, our family needed a little extra something to get us thinking in the season. Last year I got a large paper roll and covered the inside of our front door with paper. Each time we thought of something we were grateful for, we wrote it on the paper. By Thanksgiving, we had a whole door-ful of things we were thankful for. This year I modified the idea and made up Thanksgiving grateful cards. Every time we think of something we are grateful for, we write it on a card and drop it in the vase.

We plan to fill up the vase by Thanksgiving, and then read them all out loud around the Thanksgiving table. It has been a fun way to get my kids thinking because, hey, there are so many things to be thankful for!

He Is Risen! (free printable Easter Tag!)

He Is Risen - free printable Easter TagI have been on an Easter kick all week! I designed a free printable Easter bookmark earlier this week, and then I got this grand idea to create a matching Easter tag to attach to our baskets! And since I still have one day left (nothing like leaving it to the last minute, right?), I am posting them here for you to have too!

He Is Risen - free printable Easter Tag

He Is Risen - free printable Easter TagThis Easter tag comes in the same four fun, springy Easter colors that the bookmarks do. I am offering this design as a free printable PDF. Click the link below to download, print and share:

He Is Risen - free Easter printable bookmarkEvery year for Easter, my kids get a new book in their baskets, along with a few other fun summer items. This year I decided to design a bookmark to go along with their new books. I kept it spiritually themed — He Is Risen! — to help offset everything else in their baskets revolving around eggs, bunnies, and chocolate! (Not that I have anything against eggs, bunnies, or chocolate!)

He Is Risen - free Easter printable bookmarkI designed the bookmarks in four different colors (I have four different kids, after all!), and the fun, springy, Easter colors make me happy!

He Is Risen - free Easter printable bookmarkSo how would you like to add a bookmark to your Easter basket this year? Great! Because I am offering this design to you too, as a free printable PDF. Click the link below to download, print and share:

LDS Baptism Memory Book – Printable 8.5 x 11 Pages

February 16th, 2016 | Posted by Jolyn in Church | Home & Family Life | Primary - (Comments Off on LDS Baptism Memory Book – Printable 8.5 x 11 Pages)

When my daughter was baptized a few months ago, I looked at every baptism memory book available in stores. Every single one. And for one reason or another, none of them seemed to fit what my daughter and I were looking for. That was, of course, when I buckled down and started designing!

I loved the idea that we could customize our own baptism memory book. We could choose the pages that we wanted, we could choose a color to fit my daughter’s personality (in her case, teal!), and we could save money by printing ourselves. We filled it with only pages we needed, and we filled it with only memories and photos that she wanted. And it made an awesome memory book for her to record her baptism memories! Since we placed the printed pages in a simple 3-ring binder, there is now room left for her to add other handouts, thoughts, or scriptures that she wants to save from Primary or Activity Days. It has become a truly personalized baptism book – just for her.

Because these baptism memory book printable pages proved very successful for us, I added them to my Etsy shop! And yes, I added a few extra color options – just in case your child’s favorite color isn’t teal! These PDF printable pages are available in four different colors (purchase once and receive all four color options). Then print as many of each page as you need and fill it in with the memories and photos you want. Place the printed pages in a 8.5″ x 11″ binder or album, or have them spiral bound into a book at your favorite copy shop.

These PDF printable Baptism Memory Books include a title/picture page, pages for journaling and recording special facts about the baptism, pages for thoughts, memories and testimonies, informational pages on the baptismal covenant and the fourth article of faith, a guest sign-in page, and blank pages (use for placing extra photos of the special day, attach the baptism program, record extra thoughts or feelings, or attach special notes or cards from family and friends). Print the pages you need, add the memories you want, and Voila! – a personalized baptism memory book.

Fill-in Dinner Menu (free 8 x 10 printable!)

September 18th, 2015 | Posted by Jolyn in Home & Family Life - (Comments Off on Fill-in Dinner Menu (free 8 x 10 printable!))

Dinner Menu 8x10 Printable

What’s for dinner? If you are like me, then you don’t know yet! I am horrible at keeping up with dinner, and I usually don’t start thinking about dinner until around 5:00… which is around the time I start feeling hungry! Of course, that means that dinner is usually not anything that takes more than 20 minutes to prepare (not that there is anything wrong with that!) However, I have had intentions for awhile of trying to prepare a few more thought-out, healthy meals for my family.

Therefore, in an effort to reform my bad dinner preparation habits, I designed an 8 x 10 dinner menu to keep in my kitchen. And just in case I’m not the only one that struggles with dinner, I felt I needed to share it!

You can print it, frame it, and use a dry-erase marker to write on the glass. Or, you can laminate it, throw some sticky magnet strips on the back, put it up on your fridge, and use a dry-erase marker to write on it. Either way works!

So, here goes – six different color options, with the option of downloading either an 8 x 10 JPEG image or an 8 x 10 PDF (for ease in printing, the PDF file has an 8 x 10 menu design put on an 8.5 x 11 size page.)
