Simplify, Dieter F. Uchtdorf (free printable!)

Simplify, Dieter F. Uchtdorf - free printable!“Living the Gospel doesn’t need to be complicated… Step back, look at your life from a higher plane, and simplify your approach to discipleship.” President Uchtdorf’s talk at this last October 2015 LDS General Conference made so much sense to me! And I loved this quote from it. It reminded me of a newly-baptized convert I once knew who wanted to know why church members complained about the gospel being so complicated and hard to live – didn’t they know that it was the gospel and a knowledge of a loving God that made life easy and worth living! Listening to President Uchtdorf’s talk was a good reminder to me to allow the gospel to simply work in my life. Actually, I loved so many of the talks. But this one is going on my bookshelf. And because I want the share the good things, I am making this quote available to go on your bookshelf too.

The LDS Primary theme for 2015 is “I Know My Savior Lives,” and I have been working hard to get my designs finished! My new designs are available in my Etsy store and I am very excited about them.

I Know My Savior Lives

This year’s designs come in four different colors (blue-green, purple-turquoise, teal-raspberry, and gold-slate), and anything purchased in my Etsy store comes in ALL four colors! Yep, no more having to choose a color here – you get all four!

I Know My Savior Lives

The “I Know My Savior Lives” printable poster prints (in 4×6, 5×7, and 8×10) can be found in my Etsy store here. These are great to print up for home or church use, and they can be used for framing, hanging, binder covers, gifts, etc. And this year I am also offering a 2015 LDS Primary Theme Kit which I am very excited about. It includes the printable theme poster in all sizes (including large format sizes), as well as printable round & square tile sheets (1×1 squares, 1-inch circles, and 2-inch circles), and a matching bookmark. And, as mentioned, all of these designs come in ALL four color options.

And we can make it even better by adding a free printable, right? I designed up matching “I Know My Savior Lives” 2015 Primary reminder cards/stickers. And they come in all four colors, as well. These cards/stickers can be handed out to Primary children as a helpful reminder that they have been assigned to give a future talk, scripture, prayer, or article of faith in Primary.

I Know My Savior Lives - Primary Reminder Stickers 2015

This free download is a 8.5 x 11 PDF file, with 10 cards/stickers per sheet. It can be printed up and used as either Primary reminder cards (just print and cut out), or as Primary reminder stickers (sized to be printed directly onto 2 x 4 shipping label sheets). If printing onto shipping labels, be sure the “scale” is sized to 100% when printing — otherwise, they will not fit on the label sheets correctly no matter how frustrated you get!

Thankful Heart, Uchtdorf - free printable

I always love messages from President Dieter F. Uchtdorf. But seriously, weren’t all of the messages from the April 2014 General Conference amazing?! President Uchtdorf’s message on being “Grateful in any Circumstance” particularly touched me. I have put a lot of thought and effort into trying to teach my children the characteristic of gratitude as a cure in an ever-increasing world of entitlement, selfishness, and disappointment. I loved this talk about being grateful in any circumstance. I immediately re-listened to it, took notes, and pulled my favorite quotes (and there were quite a few, actually!) I made up this 5×7 printable, “A thankful heart is the parent of all virtues,” for my home and I want to share it with you! I made it up in several different colors so you can choose what works best for you.

Families Are Forever - Primary Reminder Stickers 2014 WEB image

Time for a free printable, right? The Primary 2014 theme is “Families Are Forever” (did I mention that I seriously love this theme), and I recently finished up my “Families Are Forever” designs in my Etsy shop. I wanted to design up some matching 2014 Primary reminder cards and stickers to go with them. And guess what? They’re free. And extra bonus? They come in 5 different colors to spice things up. These cards/stickers can be handed out to Primary children as a helpful reminder that they have been assigned to give a future talk, scripture, prayer, or article of faith in Primary.

This free download is a 8.5 x 11 PDF file, with 10 cards/stickers per sheet. It can be printed up and used as either Primary reminder cards (just print and cut out), or as Primary reminder stickers (sized to be printed directly onto 2 x 4 shipping label sheets). If printing onto shipping labels, be sure the “scale” is sized to 100% when printing — otherwise, they will just not fit on the label sheets correctly.

Primary Reminder Cards and Stickers 2013 (free printable!)

Child of God Primary Reminder Stickers 2013 WEB

I know the year is half over, but I decided to design up some 2013 Primary reminder cards and stickers anyway. Better late than never! These reminder cards focus on the 2013 Primary theme of “I Am a Child of God”. And, it just so happens that they also match the other 2013 Primary theme designs that I sell in my Etsy shop (including “I Am a Child of God” 5 x 7 printables in both boy and girl designs, and “I Am a Child of God” tile sheets available in different sizes). These cards/stickers can be given out to Primary children as a helpful reminder that they have been assigned to give a talk, scripture, prayer, or article of faith in Primary. And, because they can be printed on sticker labels, they are pretty handy!

This free printable file can be printed up and used as either Primary reminder cards (just print and cut out), or as Primary reminder stickers (sized to be printed directly onto 2 x 4 shipping label sheets). If printing onto shipping labels, be sure the “scale” is sized to 100% when printing… otherwise, they will just not fit correctly on the labels, no matter how mad you get at your printer!

I love general conference. I always come away with two or three new mottos to live by. Elder David A. Bednar’s talk from the April 2005 general conference, “The Tender Mercies of the Lord“, is still one of my absolute favorites. I have gone back to that talk time and time again. And since I’m a fan of passing on inspiration, I designed this free 5×7 printable with a quote pulled from Elder Bednar’s Tender Mercies talk.

Relief Society Theme

When I first set out to create a nice design of the LDS Relief Society theme, I did it mostly for myself. I mean, for all the years I had been in Relief Society, I really hadn’t studied the motto much. It had been on my spiritual to-do list for… well, a long time. I figured that if I set out to design and create something new, knowing that my end result would mean something new and fresh to look at on my wall (plus, it totally complimented my home, which was a bonus), then that would give me good incentive to study it. Right? Right. It was a good thing too. When you delve into the details of a design, you can’t help but learn a few things along the way. And I learned the Relief Society theme! I can honestly say that I feel pretty familiar with it now.

I offer this Relief Society theme design as a free PDF printable, available in different sizes. Get to know it yourself! Download, display, and share. And remember that although this design is offered as a free printable for personal and church use, the copyright remains with me. Please don’t re-sell or claim this design as your own.
